Well here is the third Halloween Updates!

Quests:
Part 4 of 5 has been released!! Click Here to go to the 4th part of the quest! This quest is all about Halloween!

Here is some facts that will help you through the quest:

  • A spider was rolled in butter and used as cure for diseases such as leprosy and the plague. Tasty!
  • Halloween is the witches' New Year and is called Samhian.
  • The Los Altos, Ca., school system banned all Halloween celebrations because of the holiday's roots in pagan tradition.
  • The original idea started in 1950 in Philadelphia, when a Sunday school class had the idea of collecting money for needy children when trick-or-treating. They sent the money they made, about $17, to UNICEF (United Nations Children Fund), which was inspired by the idea and started a trick-or-treat program in 1955.
  • Bram Stoker's creation "Dracula" was based on the life of Prince Vlad Tepes (1431-1476). He was also called Vlad the Impaler since he had a bad habit of impaling his victims on stakes. The name "Dracula" is Romanian for Devil's son. Vlad Dracula's father was a knight of the Order of the Draco or dragon, so Dracula also translates as "the Son of Draco".
  • The word "witch" is derived from the word "wicca" which means wise one.
  • Black cats were originally believed to be witches' familiars who protected the witches' powers from negative forces.
  • This great song written by Bobby "Boris" Pickett and Lenny Capizzi reached number one on the Billboard Charts for two weeks in 1962, and then returned to the charts in 1970 and 1973.
  • Hocus Pocus" starred Bette Midler, Kathy Najami, and Sarah Jessica Parker as three witches come back from the dead after 300 years.
Here are the rest of the quests you might want to also do and the dates for the final two quests!
